This series of works is based on the peaceful and timeless beauty of the classical gardens at Versailles.

Every print is handmade. 100% cotton rag cotton rag paper is coated with a specially mixed light sensitive solution in a dark room. I then let it dry overnight. I expose it to UV light under a carefully calibrated and tested negative.

When the exposure is complete I rinse the paper in water and the blue image emerges. Once dry it is fixed and permanent.

Each print is slightly different due to the brushstrokes and other variations in the handmade process.

This print is an artist’s test print and is signed and dated on the back.
