Cyanotype of two Dahlias on Arches Platine Cotton Rag paper.
Size approx 16.5 x 11.5 inches. Unframed print. (Framing suggestion pictured.)
I make each cyanotype print by hand coating cotton rag paper with a specially mixed light sensitive solution in very dim lighting. I then let it dry overnight. I expose it under a large negative and a piece of glass, usually the sun. I then rinse the paper in water and the blue image emerges.
Each print is slightly different due to the brushstrokes and other variations in the handmade process.
This print is signed and dated on the reverse.
