RA Summer Exhibition

I am delighted to have a print in this years’s Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

I wanted to submit a flower portrait that had a sculptural feel, and that I felt linked to the swimmer print I exhibited here last year. This peony head seems to hang in the blue in the way I wanted and Beth Keegan of The Frame Library made a beautiful hand painted frame which further adds to this effect. (Unfortunately I was so rushed between getting this framed and some other pieces I didn’t take any photos of it, so will have to update this post with pictures later!)
